Rover Hybrids Rear Winch Bumper
The Land Rover Hi-Cap pickup bed has a unique long rear over hang. We got rid of alot
of this over hang by bobbing the bed 12". The bed still has an increased over hang of
about 7" compared to a stock D90. To protect the rear of the bed and aid slidding off
obstacles off road Rover hybrids designed and built this aggressively sloped rear bumper.
Utilizing the area available we also added a rear winch. To help maximize the strength to
weight ratio the majority of the bumper is made from 3/16" T-1 plate.
The sides and rear of the
bumper are sloped to aid
sliding off rocks.
Inside the center area will be
a winch.
All sides of the bumper
receive attention to help
protect the body as well as
compliment the factory Land
Rover styling.
